Abhi Na Jao is not just a song, it is an anthem, if I might say How sweet is the feeling of wanting someone to stay longer every time you meet them. The magic of evergreen songs lie in the poetic nature, the simplicity and the genuineness of the expression. I can’t think of any other song coming close to expressing this emotion as beautifully as this song. This composition by Jaidev ji and these lyrics by Sahirji stay rent-free in my mind and heart. This is a duet by Rafi Sahab and Asha ji but I have tried a solo rendition here. Hope you like my honest attempt.
