The thing that I admire the most about this song is the celebration of freedom. Panchi Banu Udti Phiru composed by Shankar Jaikishan ji comes from the 1950’s era which means this song is over 70 years old now! Isnt it astonishing to look at it this way? Even today in 2023, most of us are confined to the hurdles created by our own inhibitions and they come in our way of achieving freedom – what do you think about this thought?
