Day 16. A song from your childhood with 1 distinct memory

My mom-dad were gazal enthusiasts and I remember listening so many gazals in the childhood. But this particular one was special because Aai Baba used to sing this in our colony events. And the distinct memory I have is – I remember making my kaagaz ki kashti while listening to this gazal one rainy day in July in the ninetees – innocently unaware of the intensely beautiful meaning of this song.

Today, I have goosbumps everytime I listen to this song and I wish to try and sing it someday!

Which is your song for today? Let me know in the comments!
